About
Designed between bedtimes
A dad, a CAD seat, and a printer that runs after the kids are asleep.
I design things in CAD and print the ones my kids think are cool. That turned into Magic: The Gathering deck boxes, then weapon dice holders for D&D, then a lunch cooler, a cauldron, an eyeball, a burger. Most hold 100 double-sleeved cards and have somewhere to keep your dice.
Everything is designed for a home machine. Multi-color versions use an AMS; most also work in a single color if you'd rather paint. Magnets are usually 8×2 mm, and when something needs supports, the listing says so.
Requests are welcome. Comment on any model with what you'd like to see and it goes on the list.
How a box gets made
- 1Sketch from a real double-sleeved deck. Tolerances first, theme second.
- 2Extrude the walls; set the pocket depth for 100 cards plus sleeves.
- 3Lid and magnets. Snap-fit, four 8×2 mm discs, printed without supports wherever possible.
- 4Slice at 0.2 mm, multi-color where the design asks for it.
- 5Print, photograph, post. What you see on the listing is the real print on the kitchen counter.
